Job summary
WHO WE ARE Peripheral is developing spatial intelligence, starting in live sports and entertainment. Our models generate spatial data, used for advanced sports analytics and immersive media experiences. We’re solving key research challenges in 3D computer vision, creating the foundations for the next generation of robotic perception and embodied intelligence. We’re backed by top investors, including Khosla Ventures, Daybreak, and Entrepreneurs First, and working with some of the biggest names in sports. Our team includes engineers and researchers from leading technology companies and research institutions, and we’re building technology at the intersection of AI, graphics, and the future of live entertainment. We’re ambitious and looking to win. THE OPPORTUNITY This isn't a traditional TPM role. At Peripheral, you'll be one of the first operational leaders responsible for building the execution engine behind the company. As our first Senior Technical Program Manager, you'll partner directly with the founders and engineering leadership to shape how the company operates: from establishing planning systems and engineering rhythms to driving the highest-impact technical initiatives across AI, computer vision, hardware, and cloud infrastructure. You'll be joining at a defining moment. The way the company scales will, in large part, be built by you. We're looking for someone who is energized by that challenge and who can create clarity from complexity, bring teams together around ambitious goals, and turn vision into execution. WHO YOU ARE A builder at heart, you thrive in complex technical environments and have experience driving technical projects from concept to execution. You bring structure to ambiguity, take ownership, and drive outcomes with an owner’s mindset. You combine strong technical project leadership with exceptional communication skills, creating alignment across teams, bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders, and bringing clarity to challenges. Above all, you care deeply about execution and building the systems, processes, and operating rhythms that help exceptional teams move faster. REQUIREMENTS: * Have 7+ years of experience leading complex technical programs, engineering initiatives, or cross-functional teams. * Have experience at an early-stage startup or high-growth technology company. * Thrive in ambiguity and enjoy building systems from the ground up. * Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and exceptional at driving alignment. * Communicate clearly with engineers, researchers, founders, customers, and external partners. * Build scalable processes instead of temporary fixes. * Have a bias toward action and consistently deliver outcomes. * Have an engineering background or technical degree. * Must be willing to relocate to Toronto and work in person at our Toronto office. WHAT YOU’LL OWN * Build the operational foundation that enables Peripheral to scale. * Partner directly with founders and engineering leaders on the company's highest-priority initiatives. * Establish project planning systems, operating rhythms, and communication frameworks. * Lead mission-critical product launches, customer deployments, and major partner initiatives. * Identify risks, remove blockers, and ensure teams remain aligned on priorities. * Improve engineering velocity by creating systems that enable exceptional execution. * Help define the culture, processes, and standards that shape Peripheral as we grow. WHY YOU’LL LOVE WORKING HERE * Competitive equity package as a foundational team member. * Annual salary of $130K-$150K CAD plus performance bonuses, commensurate with experience. * Unparalleled access to premier global sporting events and iconic venues. * Full ownership of high-impact projects shaping the future of spatial intelligence and 3D media. * Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO). * Comprehensive health, dental, vision and wellness benefits.
