About the Position Our client is a leading industrial distribution and manufacturing organization seeking a Vice President of Operations. This executive leader will architect, modernize, and scale the company's operating infrastructure to drive sustainable corporate growth, enhance profitability, and deliver superior customer performance. In this role, the VP will champion continuous improvement, elevate supply chain execution, and align operational systems, facilities, and workforce capabilities with long-term strategic objectives. Working in close partnership with Technology & Data leadership, this position is pivotal in leveraging modern digital tools to maximize business performance across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities Operating Strategy & Scalability: Refine governance models, operational workflows, and enterprise capacity planning to ensure the infrastructure effectively supports future growth. Operational Excellence & Technology: Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/process optimization) across all business units, using operational KPIs and technology tools to drive efficiency. End-to-End Operational Oversight: Direct core operating activities across warehousing, distribution, procurement, inventory management, manufacturing, logistics, and facilities management. Transformation & Acquisition Integration: Drive organizational change efforts to boost productivity and customer satisfaction, while providing operational support for M&A integration activities. Leadership & Workforce Safety: Build leadership depth and succession plans across operational teams, nurture a culture of accountability and collaboration, and uphold high safety and regulatory compliance standards. Qualifications Professional Background: 15+ years of progressive operational leadership with a track record of scaling operations, executing transformation programs, and leading multi-functional teams. Industry Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of industrial distribution channels, multi-site warehousing, supply chain execution, procurement, and manufacturing operations. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred. Leadership Competencies: Strong financial and commercial discipline, proficiency in data-driven decision-making, and exceptional executive communication and change management skills.

Requirements
