Benefits * Extended Health & Dental Benefits * Premiums Paid by Employer * Employer Contribution Pension Plan * Growth Opportunities * Paid Training * Long term job security * Employee Assistant Program * Telus Health Virtual Care Responsibilities * Promote sales to existing clients * Identify and solicit potential clients * Assess clients' needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services * Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit clients' needs * Develop reports and proposals as part of sales presentation to illustrate benefits from use of good or service * Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service * Prepare and administer sales contracts * Consult with clients after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support * May train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment * May conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce * Must participate in all training programs made available through Peterbilt or outside vendors * Other duties as assigned Qualifications * 5 years’ proven sales experience * Experience in heavy duty/medium duty trucks is an asset * Completion of Sales Training Program * Completion of Post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree program is an asset * Knowledge of heavy duty/medium duty truck inventory * Knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) * Good written and oral communication skills * Strong personal organizational skills as they relate to workload, time management and setting priorities in an unsupervised environment * Effective problem solving and negotiating skills * Effective conflict resolution skills Compensation Rate * $45,000 - $50,000 annually + commission * The first 12 months are focused on training and skill development to become a successful Sales Representative, with a salary of $72,000 (less applicable deductions). After 12 months, compensation transitions to the standard sales commission structure of $45,000 - $50,000 annually + commission.

Requirements
Candidates must have at least 5 years of proven sales experience, ideally within the heavy or medium-duty truck industry. A post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree is preferred, along with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
