Pharmasave Parksville is looking for a Full-Time Pharmacist to join our team. We are an independently owned and operated community pharmacy committed to providing the highest level of patient care possible to our patients. We have been serving the Oceanside community for over 20 years, and currently have a team of 8 pharmacists, 1 registered pharmacy technician, and 10 pharmacy assistants, as well as a strong front store team. We are a clinically focused pharmacy, providing many services such as travel health and vaccinations, adaptations, minor-ailment prescribing, medication reviews, compliance packaging, opioid-agonist therapy, diabetes education, natural medicine, active living, weight loss, and more. We are seeking a competent, efficient, and caring pharmacist to help improve the health of our patients and grow our business. Hours of operation are 8:30am-7pm Monday through Friday, 9am-6pm Saturday, and 10am-6pm Sunday. Ability to deliver high standard of customer service and patient care Ability to collaborate with our existing team Certification to provide medications by injection Strong computer skills (ideally proficient with Kroll) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Strong understanding on proper billing and audit risk mitigation Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize workload, multitask, and work as part of a team BC Pharmacist License in Good Standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC Injection Certification Ability to prescribe for minor ailments Ability to stay current with evolving pharmacy practices and regulations Ability to explain complex medical information in an accessible way Experience working with Kroll software Experience working in a community pharmacy Competitive Wage, $55-$65/Hour Extended Health, Dental Coverage Paid Vacation RRSP contribution Paid College and BCPhA Fees Store Discount With over 900+ stores across the country, Pharmasave is one of Canada’s leading independent pharmacy and drugstore retailers.
