Job summary
Responsibilities Accounting Actively participate in the month end and year end processes (i.e. journal entries, reconciliations, forecasts, budgets, etc.) Ensure data integrity and that results are reported under current accounting standards Financial Analysis Conduct monthly financial analyses of revenue and expenses Explain budget discrepancies and forecast differences Create and analyze reports, dashboards and financial models in order to monitor performance Controls, Processes and Systems Follow internal financial processes and ensure accounting standards are applied Participate in system optimization to increase the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting (e.g. developing new processes, tools and models) Improve documentation of financial processes Education And Training Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Has or is in the process of obtaining a CPA title or equivalent Experience 1 to 3 years’ experience in accounting or corporate finance Skills, Knowledge And Abilities Excellent analytical abilities and critical thinking Ability to manage multiple priorities Strong oral and written communication skills Bilingual (French and English) Team spirit and interpersonal skills Client orientation Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (mainly Excel and PowerPoint) Knowledge of SAP (asset)
