Assess and address the healthcare needs of people detained in police custody, provide appropriate interventions and care guidance, and determine fitness for detention, release, interview, and understanding of charge. Conduct forensic medical examinations and collect samples, maintain accurate records including injury documentation, and consult or refer to the Consultant Forensic Medical Examiner when needed.
