Responsibilities As the successful candidate for this role, you will be responsible for a range of installation activities, including but not limited to: Installation of structured cabling systems, including multi-pair copper, inside/outside fiber optic, and coaxial cables Cable routing, forming, prepping, terminating, labeling, and testing Working with a wide range of connectors, patch panels, patch cords, outlets, and cable assemblies Use of hand tools, ladders, testers, barricades, and required safety equipment Troubleshooting inside and outside plant cable issues, performing repairs, and validating test results Installation of access points, network hardware, and security equipment Cable demolition/removal and recycling Adherence to all safety procedures and site requirements Material handling, inventory control, and documentation Class 5 driver's license and valid police clearance required To excel in this role, you must be well-versed in all required company and prime contractor safety rules and regulations.
