As an Electrical Estimator, you will: Review and understand job specifications and drawings, following through with the estimating process to develop competitive bids. Conduct site/tender walk-throughs to cross-reference drawings, avoid site interferences, and identify proactive solutions. Produce material and labor take-offs using estimating software to develop accurate quotations. Communicate with clients to gather information, clarify specifications, wording, etc. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing for inclusion in the final quotation provided to the client. Participate in closing the bid, including bid review meetings, etc. Participate in handover meetings with the project management team after the award. QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of 5 years of electrical estimating experience; trade experience is a definite asset. Applicants must include a detailed project list with their resume. An Electrical Engineering degree or diploma or related education and/or trade experience. Design-build construction experience, ideally having completed a full-cycle P3 project. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Accubid Pro and/or Enterprise, LiveCount, and Bluebeam Revu is a definite asset. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
