Job Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and expanding Planet Services Group's presence in cleaning, security, and restoration services. Job Duties Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and strategic outreach Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet growth targets Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders using customer relationship management tools Lead negotiations to secure deals that benefit both the company and clients Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling campaigns that generate leads and enhance brand visibility Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction Qualifications Demonstrated skills in business development, sales, or account management, with a focus on B2B services or facility management. Strengths in relationship building, client communication, and stakeholder management to support long-term partnerships. Ability to conduct market research, analyze trends, and develop strategic plans that drive growth and profitability. Competence in preparing proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations with attention to detail and commercial awareness. Experience using CRM tools and basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent productivity software. Proven organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in cleaning, security, restoration, or broader facility services is an asset. Valid driver's license and ability to visit client sites in Calgary and the surrounding region as required.
