The Opportunity Reporting to the Director of Public Markets, you will be responsible for: * Analyzing and making recommendations on a portfolio of investment managers spanning multiple asset classes; * Preparing and presenting reports to decision makers regarding investment implementation initiatives and to accommodate plan requirements; * Researching and developing investment policy to support industry best practices for defined benefit pension plans, defined contribution pension plans, * Communicating investment analysis to a diverse audience which may include members of the financial industry including investment managers, external service providers, auditors, and members of various boards and commissions who oversee investments across several plans; and * Using a variety of programs and tools to analyze investment performance. Ideal Candidate You will be: * flexible and highly organized; * accountable; * articulate; and * proactive and self motivated. Typically, the knowledge and experience required to achieve the above is obtained through a combination of: * Enrollment and/or completion of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program. Preference will be given to candidates who have enrolled in the CFA program and have successfully completed Level 1 or higher of the program; and * A combination of relevant education and experience in the investment or pension industry is beneficial. Relevant education could include a combination of Bachelor/Master’s degrees in administration, commerce, or economics, enrollment and/or completion of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst program (CAIA), or other investment industry-specific courses and designations. Requirements

Candidates should have enrollment or completion of the CFA program, with preference given to those who have completed Level 1 or higher. A bachelor's or master's degree in administration, commerce, or economics is preferred, along with relevant experience in the investment or pension industry.
