Plasman Windsor 3 Manufacturing is currently seeking a new member to join our team as: Human Resources Generalist Under minimal direction, assisting and supporting the HR Manager in all facets of human resources, including benefits administration, recruiting, policy implementation, reporting of information, employee relations and training. Develop and provide recommendations for updates to policies, procedures and work instructions specific to the department and role. Advise employee and management personnel on the interpretation of personnel policies, programs and procedures, and ensure all programs are carried out in accordance with company expectations. Analyze and provide advice to employees, supervisors, and managers on methods and approaches to resolve employee relation issues (i.e. employee complaints, harassment allegations, etc.) Recommend, develop and maintain an accurate HRIS, including employee personnel files and relevant electronic data files. Oversee accurate completion of daily time sheets reporting, auditing and completion of weekly payroll and associated tasks. Oversee effective claims management including investigation of incidents, completion of required forms. Support and conduct internal investigations, incident / accidents / near misses, and complete proper reporting as required. Administer all employee benefits, including health, life insurance, and group registered pension plans monthly. Ensure accurate records are kept, and manage billing for all external providers, verifying charges and updating discrepancies. Coach managers and supervisors in managing employee performance; provide support in guiding team through appropriate documentation of events, how to counsel employees and deliver corrective actions effectively. Manage employee absenteeism and attendance program, issue corrective disciplinary action as required, report on statistics. Consult on high level attendance management cases with departmental and HR manager. Manage salary structure, position documentation, and conduct regular audits on payroll and HRIS related tools and systems. Support all aspects of Health and Safety, working in conjunction with the Health and Safety team members, and the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC). QUALIFICATIONS: Post secondary education in a Human Resources related field (CHRP, PHR or SHRM-CP certificate is desirable), or a combination of equivalent relevant work experience and training will be considered. Minimum of 5-8 years' experience in a human resource role, with a broad understanding of all HR facets Valid JHSC certification is an asset Familiarity with and ability to research, interpret and apply applicatble employment legislation Demonstrates a high level of integrity, trust and composure and viewed as approachable by all levels of the organization. Strong data analysis and research skills, decision making, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. Strong planning skills with proven ability to implement. This position offers a compensation range of $70,000 - $80,000, dependent on skills and experience. This posting is for an existing, currently vacant position within Plasman.
