We are seeking a Content Designer to support a social services transformation initiative. This contract role will contribute to the delivery of high-quality content design and copywriting. The successful candidate will work closely with research, design, and delivery teams within an agile product environment. This is a remote contract position from Sept 9 to December 31,2026 and is open to candidates who have a current valid Reliability level Government of Canada security clearance, or higher. Responsibilities Design and deliver content for digital product features as part of a cross-functional agile product team. Support content design and copywriting efforts across employee- and/or client-facing services. Ensure content aligns with correct business terminology and adheres to established organizational standards, guidelines, and accessibility requirements. Collaborate with research and design teams to apply user-centered content design practices. Follow and contribute to established content design standards and patterns. Focus on content re-use and delivery accelerators to support on-time product delivery. Coordinate content translation activities to ensure delivery in both official languages (English and French). Participate in agile ceremonies and work iteratively to support product outcomes. Qualifications 4-8 years of experience in content design, copywriting, or related transferable skills (such as communications, UX writing, or digital content development). Ability to create clear, concise, and user-focused content. Experience working within agile or multidisciplinary teams. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established standards and guidelines. Experience in public service or comparable field Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Nice-to-Have Qualifications French language capability (written and verbal). Experience working in government, public sector, or social services environments. Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive content practices.
