SECURITY ASSESSMENT AND AUTHORIZATION (SA&A) SPECIALIST Location: Remote, Canada Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is required at the time of application DURATION- 2 MONTHS (SEPT 8TH TO NOV 18TH 2026) JOB SUMMARY The Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) Specialist is essential in ensuring the security and compliance of our Azure native platform. This role involves providing subject matter expertise in the SA&A process, documenting security controls, and managing security testing activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security configurations within Azure components and experience with the Government of Canada SA&A processes. The SA&A Specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of all security measures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide subject matter expertise in completing required SA&A documents and activities for Azure native platforms. * Collect, document, and maintain evidence of control responses to ensure compliance with security standards. * Develop and maintain comprehensive Security Installation Plans to guide the secure deployment of systems. * Conduct security testing, analyze results, and document test reports to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies. * Utilize knowledge of Azure platform security configurations to implement best practices and enhance security posture. * Apply expertise in Government of Canada SA&A processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically in Security Assessment and Authorization. * Proven experience with Azure platform security configurations and management. * Familiarity with Government of Canada SA&A processes and compliance requirements.
