Job summary

We are looking for a high energy pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team. Key responsibilities of a pediatric OTA might include: * *Implementing treatment plans:* Working with children on activities designed to improve their fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory processing, and social skills. * *Documentation:* Accurately recording session details, progress, and any changes to the treatment plan. * *Collaboration:* Working with OTs, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care. * *Assistance with assessments:* Helping OTs with the initial assessment of a child's needs and strengths. * *Parent/caregiver education:* Teaching families strategies to support their child's development at home. * *Administrative tasks:* Managing inventory, scheduling appointments, and handling paperwork. * *Potential group leadership:* Assisting with or leading group therapy sessions. * *Adaptability:* Working in various settings, including schools, clinics, hospitals, or homes.
