About The Role As a Senior Technical Program Manager in FX, you will bridge our inventory and capacity platforms with customer-facing programs (grocery, speed offerings), driving insights from programs back into platform development. This is an inherently cross-functional role spanning engineering, operations, finance, and business teams—both local and remote. Key job responsibilities Responsibilities Gather business and systems requirements from internal customers across Amazon Conceptualize solutions, author specifications, and define project scope Drive end-to-end delivery—from design through release and post-launch support Make appropriate trade-offs to optimize release schedules and outcomes Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to partner teams What we're looking for Strong program management background with demonstrated experience leading medium-to-large, technically complex projects Well-rounded technical foundation in current technologies, comfortable with scripting, querying large datasets and in general operating in quantitative, data-driven domains, with as well as without the aid of GenAI. Ability to thrive in ambiguity—navigating competing priorities with an entrepreneurial mindset Curiosity and a bias toward thinking big on behalf of customers and sellers Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent 3+ years of software development experience 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of statistics, economics, operational research or AI, ideally with applicable coursework or certification Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
