Join Pomerleau as a Scheduling Coordinator Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting major construction projects across Canada. What you will do Work on one or two projects simultaneously (depending on the assignment); During the proposal phase, participate in the preparation of the project schedule and work sequences; Participate in the development of the Critical Path Method (CPM) on their projects; Participate in drafting the assumption note and progress note; Carry out schedule advancements at the frequency established by the project team (and according to contractual requirements); Interact with project teams and ensure that the appropriate stakeholders and data are integrated into the schedule; Set up and maintain visuals extracted from the schedule data; In the execution phase, monitor the actual performance of critical activities or those identified as risky; Attend weekly meetings to monitor assigned projects; Participate in resource integration and create load curves; Take part in site visits and project reviews; Report difficulties and successes to their Team Leader, with a view to improving their day-to-day and the quality of their work; Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with the other team members; Carry out all other activities related to the Planning department’s planning and development. This role could be for you if you have Hold a Bachelor of Civil Engineering or construction engineering, or a diploma in civil engineering or construction engineering. Have completed internships on construction projects, an asset. Have significant construction project management experience. Have an interest in Primavera P6, MS Project, TILOS or any other software planning program. Command of Office 365. Being fluent in English, an asset. Have good analytical skills. Be thorough and strive for accuracy, precision and compliance with norms. Be able to communicate technical issues in a way that is well-understood, using quality spoken and written language. Be able to work in a team and collaborate with the various stakeholders. Exercise good judgment in decision-making. Have an interest in new technologies and a desire to learn.
