Selected participants will gain valuable hands-on experience over several weeks, exploring the financial industry from within. Interns will collaborate on an accounting-focused project under the guidance of dedicated mentors, who will support their development and help them maximize their learning experience. Responsabilities Review loan portfolio data to ensure accuracy and alignment with supporting documentation. Assist in identifying data discrepancies, compliance exceptions, and operational risks. Support covenant compliance reviews and maintain tracking logs of findings. Analyze inactive loan files and recommend appropriate actions for portfolio maintenance. Document observations, prepare reports, and provide process improvement recommendations. Participate in risk review activities and shadow experienced professionals to gain insight into portfolio risk rating methodologies. Education Two years of business related college courses in Accounting or Business Administration Other Qualifications The ideal candidates must: Be pursuing a career in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related fields Must be currently a sophomore, junior or senior college student Authorization to work in U.S. and territories Have a GPA of 3.00 or more Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a professional environment.
