The Opportunity: We are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist who will play a key role in bringing the Postmedia Solutions brand, business priorities, and content strategy to life through compelling content and digital marketing campaigns, targeted to national and local clients. Working closely with Sales, SMEs, and other lines of business, you will be exceptionally skilled at working in an innovative, fast-paced environment to help to drive demand, increase brand awareness, and position Postmedia as a trusted media partner. Our ideal candidate must know how to: Build strong relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Create engaging content and creative assets that connect with diverse audiences. Manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Translate complex information into clear, compelling messaging. Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment. Develop a deep understanding of the market, competition, trends, and our customer needs. Distribute and promote content to differentiated and targeted audiences across multiple platforms including, blogs, social media, newsletters, etc. What you’ll do: Work with key stakeholders to develop a content strategy for multiple lines of business Execute multi-channel content marketing initiatives across multiple formats and platforms Leverage SEO, social media, video, and email marketing to effectively distribute content to target audiences. Manage a network of freelance writers for supplementary content development needs. Write and edit original content and edit/proofread content created by freelance writers Maintain and apply SEO/AEO/GEO best practices. Understand and articulate end customers’ needs/uses and key requirements. Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. Manage the execution of content calendars in alignment with strategic direction. Ensure all content is on brand and in the proper tone of voice for the target audience. Identify relevant or timely content opportunities by keeping up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, product knowledge, and customer feedback. Report on results, learnings, and next steps on a regular basis. Work within the Postmedia toolset: HubSpot, SEMRush, Social publishing tools, Wordpress Who you are: 5+ years' experience in content marketing or a related field. Ability to produce a steady stream of content and measure its success. Self-starter attitude, excellent time management and project prioritization skills, and ability to navigate difficult situations with effective communication skills. Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills. Experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. Ability to work with AI platforms Working knowledge of search engine marketing tools. Customer-centric with a solid understanding of analytics. Compensation: Employment offers presented to the selected candidate are based on a combination of qualifications, experience, responsibilities of the role and the candidate's location.
