What you will do: Project Planning and Coordination: Manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all requirements are met. Communication and Leadership: Serve as the primary contact for project stakeholders and lead project teams to achieve goals. Estimating and Scheduling: Prepare project estimates, develop schedules, and adjust plans to ensure timelines and budgets are met. Cost Control and Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and manage resources efficiently to maintain cost-effectiveness. Technical Expertise: Interpret architectural blueprints and utilize industry-specific software for accurate project management. Adaptability and Problem Solving: Handle shifting priorities, address challenges, and implement strategic solutions to keep projects on track. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects meet industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations, while conducting regular site visits for quality control. A 2-year diploma in Construction Technology or equivalent field experience is required. 3-5 years of experience in construction methods, including project planning, estimating, scheduling, and cost control. Solid general knowledge of the construction industry, with a focus on project coordination and cost management. Proven ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and experience with Microsoft Dynamics. Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal project teams. Knowledge of Ontario building code requirements, door and hardware standards, and site safety rules. Able to travel between job sites and have reliable transportation. Competitive Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 per year based on skills & experience. Requirements
