The Licensed Practical Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients and clients following established standards and policies. They must practice within the scope of the Licensed Practical Nurses Act and the CLPNM Standards of Practice. Candidates must hold an active practicing licensure with the CLPNM and possess one year of full-time Emergency Room experience within the last three years. Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CTAS.
