In this role, you will provide expert grooming services for dogs of all breeds and sizes, ensuring each pet looks and feels their best. Your expertise in animal handling, pet grooming, and pet care will help create a positive experience for both pets and their owners. *Responsibilities* * Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and finishing touches tailored to each dog?s breed and individual needs * Handle dogs with care and confidence, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process * Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming environment, adhering to health and safety standards * Assess each dog?s coat condition, skin health, and temperament to determine appropriate grooming techniques * Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming preferences, special needs, and aftercare instructions * Manage animal restraint safely during grooming procedures to prevent injury or stress * Keep detailed records of services provided, customer preferences, and any health concerns observed during grooming *Experience* * Proven experience as a Dog Groomer with a strong portfolio of grooming skills across various breeds and sizes * Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is highly desirable * Familiarity with animal handling, pet sitting, kennel experience, veterinary technician or assistant experience is a plus * Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for bathing tubs or equipment setup * Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive client experience * Experience with pet grooming tools, animal restraint techniques, and pet care best practices * Prior work involving animal handling in veterinary or kennel settings is advantageous * Valid class 5 drivers license. *Compensation and Benefits* Health and Wellness coverage after 3 months includes Dental, Chiro and Massages.
