Position: Journey-person Electrician based out of Moose Jaw Date Posted: August 13, 2026 Closing Date: August 28, 2026 Location: Based out of Moose Jaw CUPE Posting Number: 47-2026-27 Position Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP FTE: 1.0 Hours of Work: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Duties: The Electrician lays out, assembles, installs, tests, troubleshoots and repairs electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and related equipment in buildings and other structures. Ensure buildings are maintained in a safe and efficient, code compliant manner. Education & Qualifications Valid Journeyperson Certificate in electrical trade Minimum of one (1) year experience as a journeyperson electrician A valid Class 5 driver’s license Physical Requirements: Good physical condition with the ability to do heavy work is required (i.e., exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects). The ability to work off lifts, in crawlspaces, attics, roofs, and ladders is required. Wage & Benefits: In accordance with the current CUPE Local 5512 Collective Bargaining Agreement. Currently, this is a rate of $41.69 per hour.
