Job Title: Database Administrator (Intermediate) Location: Winnipeg, MB (Hybrid) Duration: 6 months + two optional 3-month extensions Hours: 36.25 hours/week Job Description: We are seeking a Database Administrator to develop and modify database code and SQL scripts, test and validate, and administer SQL Server databases. Mandatory Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator. SQL and Microsoft SQL Server. Online Transaction Processing (OLTP). Online Analytical Processing (OLAP). SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Preferred Skills: Architecture/design tools (Eclipse, IntelliJ, etc.). Collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira, Basecamp, Trello, G Suite). SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). Source control tools (Git, Bitbucket, PVCS, Streams). Database management tools (TOAD, RazorSQL, TeamDesk, TablePlus, Knack). Additional Assets: IBM DB2 administration, including database/schema creation, maintenance, sizing, standards, and environment management. SQL database encryption and encryption key management. Data classification. Test Data Management (TDM) tools and technologies. .

Requirements

Requires at least three years of experience as a Database Administrator and experience with SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, OLTP, OLAP, and SSIS. Preferred skills include architecture and collaboration tools, SSMS, source control and database management tools; additional assets include IBM DB2 administration, database encryption, data classification, and TDM.
