Company Overview Prep Academy Tutors is private in-home tutoring. We deliver flexible and personalized tutoring programs to our students. We specialize in all subject areas and cater to students from age four to twenty. We hire only the best - certified teachers, or those in the process of completing their degree in Education and pay much higher wages than the industry average. Job Summary We are currently looking for an experienced tutor to support two homeschool families in Southwest Calgary during the upcoming school year. Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge of the Alberta curriculum. Provide individualized instruction and supplemental assignments to students to help promote greater understanding of material. Provide remedial and enrichment support for students based on their individual learning needs. Support students at the Elementary (Grade 4) and Junior High (Grade 7) levels across a variety of subjects. Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and learning goals. Create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment for students. The schedule will be approximately 10 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday during daytime hours, with two different homeschool families. The successful tutor must be available to commit to the full school year, beginning in mid-September. You have experience providing one-on-one tutoring. You have experience teaching students at the Elementary and Junior High levels. You have strong knowledge of the Alberta curriculum. You have access to a reliable vehicle. You are available during daytime hours Monday through Wednesday. You are able to commit to the full school year beginning in mid-September.

Requirements
