Position Summary: Maison d’Étude Academy is seeking a qualified and experienced economics/business tutor to provide in-person academic support to CEGEP and University students in Montreal, QC. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, proven teaching or tutoring experience, and the ability to inspire confidence and curiosity in their students. Key Responsibilities: Provide in-person, one-on-one tutoring. Reinforce core concepts through targeted practice, assignments, and supplementary resources. Maintain ongoing communication with students’ families regarding progress and goals. Accurately log sessions and notes using our internal scheduling system. Support students in developing independent study habits and long-term academic skills. Qualifications: University degree in a relevant field (Education preferred). Minimum 1–2 years of tutoring or teaching experience. Strong knowledge of Quebec curriculum standards. Bilingual (English/French) preferred. Professionalism, reliability, and excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to provide in-person support in the Montreal area. Police background check required.
