Job Summary We are currently seeking experienced High School French Tutors in West Toronto and Etobicoke! As a tutor, you will work one-on-one with high school students to provide personalized support and guidance in their French studies. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are committed to helping students strengthen their French language skills and succeed academically. Provide academic support to high school students based on expertise and knowledge from the Ontario curriculum, with a focus on French. Provide supplemental assignments and learning activities to students to help promote a greater understanding of French language concepts and course material. Provide remedial and enrichment support for students in French, including support with reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, oral communication, comprehension, and literary analysis. Support students with test and exam preparation, assignments, presentations, written work, and other French-language assessments. Adapt instruction and learning activities to meet individual student needs, learning styles, and academic goals. Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress, academic goals, and areas for continued development. Qualifications and Skills We are looking for teachers or soon-to-be teachers who can meet the following criteria: Energetic and enthusiastic teachers with experience teaching or tutoring high school students. Strong knowledge of the Ontario high school French curriculum. Fluency or advanced proficiency in French, with strong written and oral communication skills. Experience teaching Core French, Extended French, or French Immersion is considered an asset. Experience supporting students with French reading, writing, grammar, oral communication, comprehension, and literary analysis. Committed to providing excellent customer service. Enjoy working with students and families. Great communication skills, with the ability to explain French language concepts clearly and adapt instruction to individual student needs. You are qualified to teach in a Canadian Province/Territory outside of Ontario. You are a current teacher candidate; pursuing a bachelor of education. You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited Canadian University or College. This position will serve students throughout West Toronto and Etobicoke.
