Maintenance - Custodian Price Industries Limited is looking for an experienced Custodian to support the cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of our facilities. This position involves cleaning all areas of the facility both in the office and on the manufacturing floor, including but not limited to washroom facilities, lunchrooms, meeting rooms, the café, etc. This position also includes the operation cleaning equipment such as floor sweepers and scrubbers. Conditions of Employment: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg). Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Ability to work in manufacturing environments with varying temperatures and noise levels. Capable of handling cleaning supplies and equipment safely. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent education is considered an asset. 3-5 years of custodial or janitorial experience. Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment is considered an asset. Ability to safely operate floor scrubbers, sweepers, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment. Key Responsibilities Clean manufacturing areas, offices, lunchrooms, washrooms, and common spaces. Operate floor scrubbers, sweepers, and other cleaning equipment. Empty waste and recycling containers. Move furniture if required. Ensure work areas remain safe, organized, and free from hazards. Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail. Good organizational and housekeeping skills. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
