Role Description Primary Construction is looking for an experienced construction professional who is ready to take the next step into leadership. This position is designed as an apprenticeship for leadership. We are looking for someone who has spent several years building projects, solving problems on-site, and earning the respect of those around them through proven effort and accountability. Working closely with our experienced Site Supervisors, the Assistant Site Supervisor will support the daily coordination of multiple commercial construction projects while developing the skills required to independently lead projects in the future. The long-term goal is to develop this individual into a trusted leader who represents Primary Construction’s commitment to professionalism, quality, safety, and accountability. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily activities across multiple construction sites Support Site Supervisors and field staff to keep projects organized and on schedule Assist with employee time tracking and workforce coordination Manage project schedules, site priorities, and daily work plans Communicate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers Attend site meetings and represent Primary Construction professionally Assist with project start-ups and site mobilization Coordinate material purchasing, ordering, and deliveries Support warehouse organization and inventory management Coordinate company vehicles, tools, and equipment Perform quality-control inspections and maintain company standards Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, safe, and professionally presented Identify potential issues early and work with the team to develop proactive solutions Qualifications Four to six years of hands-on construction experience Carpentry, framing, or drywall experience is strongly preferred Experience working across multiple aspects of commercial construction A strong interest in progressing into a site leadership position Excellent organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities Professional communication skills when working with clients, trades, and coworkers A dependable, hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example Strong attention to quality, presentation, and workmanship A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine desire to learn Why Join Primary Construction?
