DESIGNATION AIM: To ensure accurate and timely quality control testing and documentation to maintain product integrity and compliance with standards. Support continuous improvement in laboratory practices and cross-functional coordination. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: * Testing the materials provided to the QC lab according to defined procedures. * Sample tracking and documentation. * Obtaining samples when required according to defined procedures. * Assistance with investigation into out-of-specification results. * Assistance with development of new laboratory procedures when required. * Assistance with review of production documentation. * Monitoring of lab inventory and maintenance of on-going lab requirements. * Ensuring accurate and prompt documentation of activities according to established procedures. * Conduct in process testing to ensure products comply with quality specifications. * Work closely with Quality Control Manager and Production Manager. * All other duties relating to QC department as required. HEALTH AND SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. * Identify and promptly report any safety hazards, near misses, or incidents to the appropriate supervisor or safety representative. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AS ASSIGNED: * Adhere strictly to all GMP procedures to ensure safe and compliant production. * Work according to the Quality Management System (QMS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies and practices to ensure quality and compliance. * Keep work areas clean and practice proper personal hygiene to prevent contamination. * Immediately report any product issues, equipment malfunctions, or deviations from procedures. * Need to react to change productively and to undertake other tasks as assigned.
