The company provides end-to-end solutions, including on-site documentation through Encircle, packing, moving, storage, processing, and non-restorable (NR) listing. Priority Contents partners closely with insurers, restoration companies, and property owners to ensure accurate, efficient, and transparent handling of personal and commercial contents. Team members work in a service-focused environment where attention to detail and care for customers’ belongings are central. The company is committed to making both clients and their property a top priority throughout the claims process. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Contents Technician role based in Langley, BC, with a combination of on-site work at customer locations, warehouse duties, and some work-from-home administrative tasks as needed. The Contents Technician is responsible for carefully packing, labeling, and moving personal and commercial contents from job sites affected by events such as water, fire, or storm damage. Daily activities include documenting items using digital tools (such as Encircle), assisting with inventory and NR listing, loading and unloading trucks, organizing contents in secure storage, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The role also involves coordinating with team members, supervisors, and restoration partners, as well as providing professional, respectful service to property owners. Basic reporting, photo documentation, and follow-up on assigned tasks may be completed remotely when appropriate. Qualifications Experience with contents handling, packing, moving, or warehouse operations, with a focus on careful, organized, and safe item management. Ability to use digital tools and software for documentation and inventory (e.g., Encircle or similar platforms), plus basic computer and smartphone proficiency. Strong attention to detail, record-keeping, and organizational skills for accurate listing, labeling, and NR documentation. Effective communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to interact respectfully with clients, coworkers, and restoration partners on job sites. Physical ability to lift, carry, and move boxes and furniture, and to work on-site in varied conditions (e.g., homes, commercial buildings, and warehouses). Valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Langley, Kelowna, Kamloops BC. IICRC certification or experience in restoration, insurance contents, or related fields is an asset (training may be provided for the right candidate). High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in moving, logistics, restoration, or insurance claims support is preferred but not mandatory.
