Job summary
Description What You'll Do As a CI Specialist, You Will Find the opportunity – use data, observation, and employee feedback to identify where we can do better. Solve the problem – lead root-cause investigations using tools like 5-Why, Fishbone, Pareto, A3, and PDCA. Improve performance – identify ways to reduce downtime, scrap, waste, changeover time, and inefficiencies. Bring people together – work with operators, supervisors, maintenance, quality, and engineering to develop practical solutions. Lead improvement projects – take ideas from "What if?" to implementation and measurable results. Turn data into action – analyze downtime, waste, productivity, and other key metrics to find opportunities. Build the CI culture – encourage employees to speak up, challenge the status quo, and participate in improvements. Make improvements last – standardize successful changes and make sure the gains are sustained. What We're Looking For Degree or college diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, or a similar manufacturing environment. Experience with Lean tools and structured problem-solving. Strong analytical and Excel skills. Strong project management and communication skills. Manufacturing experience is required; experience in plastics, extrusion, converting, flexible packaging, or process manufacturing is an asset. Why Join Us ?
