Job summary

Job Status: Full-Time Permanent. Location: Generation Fertility (Vaughan). Position Summary * Senior Embryologist functions as an advanced independent practitioner with expanded technical expertise and informal leadership responsibilities. Reporting Structure * Reports to: Laboratory Supervisor. * Works independently. Role Specific Scope * Full proficiency in advanced embryology procedures. * Conducts equipment calibration and validation activities. * Initiates and validates new laboratory methodologies when requested. * Provides structured training to embryologists and trainees. * Serves as senior technical resource during complex cases. * Participates in troubleshooting laboratory system failures. * Provides senior technical oversight during critical laboratory situations. * Acts as primary trainer and mentor for junior and intermediate embryologists. * Serves as technical authority during audits and inspections (as delegated). Experience Requirements * Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD preferred). * CFAS certification as embryologist. * Significant experience as an Embryologist. * Demonstrated leadership ability and exemplary performance record.
