Position Overview The Pup & Truck Driver is responsible for transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites in a safe and efficient manner. This position requires a strong understanding of transportation regulations, exceptional driving skills, and the ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks. The Pup & Truck Driver plays a vital role in ensuring that construction operations run smoothly by delivering required materials on time and in compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities Operate Pup & Truck vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Adhere to all transportation regulations and safety practices while operating the vehicle. Complete daily logs and paperwork such as delivery tickets, and safety reports accurately. Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed while adhering to weight and safety limits. Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors regarding delivery schedules and job requirements. Maintain communication with dispatch and other team members to ensure efficient operations. Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a truck driver, preferably in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of transportation rules and regulations. Ability to operate a Pup & Truck vehicle effectively. Excellent time management and communication skills. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
