Gain experience in industrial storage tank maintenance operations Work on a safety focused team Opportunities to travel throughout Canada Key Responsibilities: Fabricating and welding (SMAW) of tank components to the highest of industry standards Out of position welding (SMAW) Reading and understanding drawings and blueprints Use of various tools and equipment under supervision (grinders, hydraulic jacks, etc.) General work with steel (grinding, buffing, oxy-acetylene use etc.) Participate in all daily toolboxes and safety meetings Working with the team to ensure a quality product is delivered. Must be physically fit and able to safely lift 50 lbs The work may require you to enter confined Spaces General jobsite support Key Qualifications: Punctual attendance is a requirement. Comply with all safety requirements Successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test Must provide proof of completion of all required safety certifications Bring a positive, ‘can-do’, ‘safety first’ attitude every day Participate with the team to build and maintain a productive and safe work environment. Valid Class 5 driver's license Valid Journeyman Ticket or valid Apprenticeship documentation Interprovincial Red Seal trade ticket is an asset CWB Ticket all position SMAW Valid B-Pressure ticket is an asset Employment is contingent on successful completion of welder’s qualification test (ASME IX) Safety Ticket Requirements: H2S Alive Confined Space Entry and Rescue CSTS 2020 WHMIS 2026 Fall protection (an asset) This job is seasonal, project-based work.
