Diagnose engine and motor faults, discuss repairs with the supervisor, document inspections and tests, and estimate repair costs. Adjust, repair, or replace parts; test repaired equipment; perform scheduled maintenance; and instruct apprentices.

Requirements

The role requires one to less than two years of experience, with no degree, certificate, or diploma required. Candidates need a valid driver's licence and experience with diesel engines, garden tractors, gasoline-powered equipment, lawn mowers, or outboard motors; the work is noisy, dusty, and physically demanding.
