PTW is hiring Journeyperson Electriciansfor multiple industrial projects in Whitecourt, AB and Northern Alberta. With several projects starting throughout September and October, there are opportunities for electricians looking for steady project work, overtime, paid travel, hotel accommodations, and the potential to move onto additional PTW projects as work is completed. What You Can Expect 10 regular hours + 2 hours overtime per day Weekends paid at overtime Travel to/from Whitecourt provided Hotel accommodations provided $50/day LOA Multiple upcoming projects Opportunities to move onto additional projects Overtime opportunities Project dates vary depending on assignment and project requirements Current Project Opportunities We have several industrial projects starting throughout September and October, with opportunities available across multiple crews: CNRL 13-23 | 5-Well Pad Approximately 10 Electricians CNRL 04-30 | 5-Well Pad + MCC Installation Approximately 1214 Electricians CNRL 01-28 | 4-Well Pad + MCC Installation Approximately 1214 Electricians Cenovus 11-11 | 4-Well Pad + PLC/MCC Installation Approximately 14 Electricians Pembina KA | 4 Process Tank Installs Approximately 812 Electricians Multiple projects = multiple opportunities to keep working. As projects are completed, there may be opportunities to transition onto other PTW projects based on your availability, experience, and project needs. Project dates and manpower requirements may change based on project needs. What You'll Be Doing As an Electrician, you'll support safe and efficient electrical construction on industrial projects, including: Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical systems Installing and terminating electrical equipment and components Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications Supporting MCC and industrial equipment installations Troubleshooting electrical issues and identifying effective solutions Performing electrical inspections and safety checks Completing required job documentation and reports Working closely with supervisors, tradespeople, and project teams Following all company, client, and site safety requirements What You'll Bring We're Looking For Journeyperson Electricians Must have CSO, First Aid, TDG, WHMIS and H2S Alive safety tickets Industrial electrical and/or construction experience is an asset Oil & gas or other industrial experience is an asset Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications Strong commitment to safety and quality Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team Ability to travel and work on industrial project sites Valid safety tickets as required by the project Ability to pass required pre-access drug and alcohol testing Must be legally authorized to work in Canada Why PTW?
