Role Summary We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team on various construction projects in the Bonnyville area. You will install electrical systems on industrial projects/sites. Key Responsibilities Install electrical systems, equipment, and components. Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment. Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites. Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment. Other duties as required. Qualifications / Requirements Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal certification preferred) Minimum of 4years of experience in industrial construction electrical work Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020 Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment Valid driver's licence Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage ranging from $45, commensurate with experience and certification Travel Allowance: 6 hours per shift Accommodations provided Shift: 14 days on, 7 days off Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate Comprehensive extended health benefits after 3 months, including dental and vision coverage, physiotherapy, massage therapy and mental health support, etc. Retirement savings plan with employer matching Employee Referral Bonus Program, offering up to $1,000 per successful referral Why Work For PTW Build Your Trade.
