Role Summary We are seeking an Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Fort McMurray. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on industrial projects/sites. Key Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components. Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions. Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment. Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites. Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment. Other duties as required. Qualifications / Requirements Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal certification preferred). Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance electrical work. Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020. Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment. Valid driver's licence Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions. Compensation & Benefits Rate: Based on Experience Shift: 21 on and 7 off Travel: Flights provided from Calgary or Edmonton Accommodations: Camp Provided Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate.
