What you’ll do

Test and assess the electrical and mechanical condition of equipment, then troubleshoot, service, and repair motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, wiring, and other electrical apparatus. Instruct apprentices and test repaired equipment to confirm it performs properly.

Requirements

Requires a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience and 2 to less than 3 years of experience. Candidates need a valid driver's licence and must be able to travel frequently, handle physically demanding work, and provide their own tools and steel-toed safety boots.
