Job summary

GROWTH PARTNER & EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT to the CEO & President · Toronto Our office sits in the heart of downtown Toronto. We run a hybrid model, two to three days in-office each week, because the best ideas still happen in a room together. PUSH is growing, and growth needs a partner. We're looking for someone who wants a front-row seat, and a real hand, in building what's next: a Growth Partner & Executive Assistant who will sit shoulder-to-shoulder with our CEO and President as they drive the growth agendas of two companies at once. This is not a traditional support role dressed up with a fancier title. It's a launchpad. You'll start with a clear, concrete remit, new business, executive support, and keeping our Toronto office humming, but the shape of this job six months from now is up to you. The more ground you cover, the more ground we'll hand you. People who've done this before have gone on to build entire functions from scratch. We're hiring for who can do that next. We care far more about how you show up than what's on your resume. We want someone hungry, sharp, and relentlessly positive, someone who doesn't wait for a job description to tell them what to do next, because let's be honest, this one is just a starting point. WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING The role starts with three pillars. Expect the mix to shift as you prove out where you add the most value. New Business & Growth ~70% Hunt down and research prospective clients across PUSH Media's key verticals, you're the first scout on new territory Lead warm outreach and email campaigns, with a sharp eye for timing, tone, and personalization Schedule and coordinate introductory calls, pitch presentations, and follow-up touchpoints Pull pitch materials together in partnership with the COO, Head of Operations, and departmental stakeholders, polished, accurate, and on time Carry relationships through the pitch process and hand off cleanly to Client Partnerships at close Keep the pipeline organized and current, so nothing good ever falls through the cracks Executive Support to the CEO & President ~20% Manage travel coordination, flights, hotels, ground transportation, full itineraries Handle expense reporting and reconciliation on their behalf Serve as a thoughtful gatekeeper for inbound calls and emails, filtering and routing with good judgment Draft and send follow-up communications in their voice, and to their standard Office & Team Support ~10% Plan and execute internal events, client receptions, and team culture moments Cover the front desk when needed, be the warm, sharp first impression every visitor remembers Own office supplies, vendor relationships, and day-to-day operational logistics Coordinate shipping and receiving WHERE THIS CAN GO This role exists because PUSH is scaling fast and our leadership needs someone who can move as fast as they do. As you build trust and track record, there's real room to take ownership of pieces of the new business function outright, shape how we source and qualify leads, and grow your title and scope alongside the agency. We're not hiring for a job. We're hiring for a trajectory. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Attitude first, always. You're already thinking three steps ahead. You don't wait to be told what needs to happen, you see it, plan it, and move. You bring high energy and high EQ in equal measure, and people trust you fast because you follow through, every time. You're genuinely energized by ambiguity rather than unsettled by it, and you'd rather build the process than wait for someone to hand you one. Entrepreneurial by nature, you treat this role like you own it, not like it was assigned to you Comfortable with ambiguity, you find the plan when there isn't one yet Proactive and anticipatory, you spot gaps before they become problems Highly organized with sharp attention to detail across competing priorities A natural communicator, in writing and in person, with a polished, confident presence Adaptable and collaborative, you flex easily between big-picture strategy and in-the-weeds execution People-forward, you genuinely enjoy building relationships and making people feel welcome AI-literate and curious, eager to use emerging tools to work smarter and faster Hungry. Positive. Relentless. You want to build something, not just staff it Nice to Have, Not Required We'd rather hire the right attitude and teach the rest. That said, these help you hit the ground running: Post-secondary education in Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field Some experience supporting leaders in a fast-paced Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, Operations, or similar role Exposure to complex calendars, travel coordination, or executive priorities Time spent in an agency, startup, media, or otherwise entrepreneurial environment COMPENSATION Compensation for this role is determined based on a variety of factors, including geographic location, relevant skills, qualifications, and professional experience. The posted range reflects our anticipated band for this position and may vary depending on the successful candidate's background and expertise.
