We are seeking a motivated and consultative sales professional with experience selling adhesives, specialty chemicals, lubricants, or other technical solutions into manufacturing environments. Reporting to the Business Director, the Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing Quadra's portfolio of performance adhesives, specialty products, and food-grade lubricants across Ontario. Applications include packaging and labeling, product assembly, rubber-to-metal bonding, industrial rubber manufacturing, and food processing environments. What would be your main responsibilities as an Account Manager – Performance Adhesives & Specialties: Promote Quadra's portfolio of performance adhesives, rubber-to-metal bonding solutions and food-grade lubricants across a variety of manufacturing industries. Maintain and grow a well-established Ontario territory, managing strategic customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities. Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by helping them solve manufacturing challenges and improve performance through innovative adhesive, specialty chemical, and lubrication solutions. Partner with key decision-makers across operations, engineering, procurement, quality, and manufacturing to uncover opportunities and drive long-term value. Develop and execute a territory growth strategy focused on both account expansion and new business development. Proactively manage your territory by developing new business opportunities, maintaining an active sales pipeline, forecasting growth, and effectively prioritizing your activities to achieve business objectives while contributing to strategic initiatives within the team. Collaborate with suppliers, technical specialists, and internal experts to deliver customized solutions that support customer objectives. Lead customer discussions around process optimization, productivity improvements, product performance, and cost-saving initiatives. Expand Quadra's presence within packaging, labeling, product assembly, rubber-to-metal bonding, industrial manufacturing, and food processing markets. Conduct customer visits, plant tours, technical presentations, and joint calls with supplier partners to strengthen relationships and accelerate growth. Manage the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and closing. Leverage CRM tools and market insights to manage your pipeline, forecast business opportunities, and drive sustainable growth. Represent Quadra at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings, further strengthening our reputation as a leading solutions provider. Having the following qualifications and skills will make you the ideal candidate: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of successful B2B sales experience, including prospecting, business development, account management, and territory growth. Experience selling adhesives, specialty chemicals, lubricants, industrial products, or other technical solutions into manufacturing environment would be considered as a strong asset Proven ability to develop and grow customer relationships while identifying and closing new business opportunities. Possess a strong analytical and technical skill set necessary to learn and troubleshoot adhesive applications Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to understand customer challenges and recommend value-added solutions. Recognized for the ability to build trust with customers Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of managing a territory, building a pipeline, and delivering sales growth. Strong business acumen, negotiation, account planning, and opportunity management skills. Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with suppliers, technical specialists, and internal teams. Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and relationship-building skills. Strong computer skills, experience with a CRM (ideally Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent interpersonal skills and initiative Willingness to travel regularly (up to 40% of working time) throughout Ontario to meet customers and support business growth, including overnight travel. Valid driver's license and passport, with the ability to travel within Canada and occasionally to the United States. Compensation: The annual base pay range for this position is reasonably expected to be $73,400.00 to $114,700.00.
