About QuadReal Property Group QuadReal Property Group is a global real estate investment, development and operating company headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. Its assets under management are $98.5 billion. From its foundation in Canada as a full-service real estate operating company, QuadReal has expanded its capabilities globally for investments in equity and debt in both the public and private markets. QuadReal invests directly through operating platforms in which it holds an ownership interest and via programmatic partnerships. QuadReal seeks to deliver strong investment returns while creating sustainable environments that bring value to the people and communities it serves. Now and for generations to come. QuadReal: Excellence lives here. www.quadreal.com [http://www.quadreal.com/] Role Description: Some people have a natural ability to make others feel welcome. They enjoy meeting new people, starting conversations, remembering faces, sharing their knowledge and finding the answer when someone needs help. If that sounds like you, you may be exactly who we are looking for. As a Concierge at Oakridge Park, you will be one of the welcoming faces of one of Vancouver’s most exciting destinations. This is a permanent, guest-facing role for someone who takes genuine pride in exceptional service and values being part of a professional, supportive team. We are looking for people who want to become exceptional at what they do — building relationships with our guests and tenants, developing an outstanding knowledge of Oakridge Park, and helping make every visit feel welcoming, effortless and memorable. As a Concierge, you will spend much of your day out on the floor, engaging with guests and helping them experience Oakridge Park. You might be welcoming someone visiting for the first time, helping a guest find a particular store or restaurant, recommending something to see or experience, assisting with a gift card or gift wrapping, supporting a VIP guest, or simply noticing that someone looks as though they could use some help. No two interactions are quite the same. Shifts include weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays. A professional uniform is provided. Responsibilities: Welcome & Connect * Create a warm, polished and professional welcome for every guest. * Proactively engage with guests throughout Oakridge Park rather than waiting to be approached. * Take a genuine interest in people and listen carefully to understand what they need. * Offer thoughtful recommendations and personalized assistance. * Become an expert on Oakridge Park’s stores, restaurants, amenities, events, services and experiences. * Support VIP and special guest experiences with discretion and care. * Look for opportunities to turn an everyday interaction into a memorable one. Provide Exceptional Service * Assist guests with directions, transportation information, local recommendations and general enquiries. * Support Concierge services including Gift Cards, Gift Wrap, Lost & Found and VIP Suite experiences. * Approach questions and unexpected situations calmly, confidently and resourcefully. * Know when to take ownership of a situation and when to involve a Supervisor or Manager. * Maintain Oakridge Park’s high standards of presentation, grooming and professionalism. Be Part of the Team * Work closely with fellow Concierge team members, Security, Operations, Marketing and other Oakridge Park teams. * Share your knowledge and experience generously with colleagues. * Participate in daily briefings and service training. * Complete handovers, logs, reporting and operational procedures accurately. * Help create a positive, supportive and dependable team environment. Experience and Qualifications: You may have worked in hospitality, hotels, travel, airlines, luxury or premium retail, tourism, cultural institutions, customer service or another people-focused profession. Or perhaps your career has taken you somewhere completely different, but working with people has always been the part you enjoyed most. We particularly value people who: * Genuinely enjoy meeting and talking with people from all walks of life. * Are naturally curious and comfortable starting conversations. * Bring maturity, good judgement and composure to guest interactions. * Enjoy sharing knowledge and helping others. * Take pride in doing a job exceptionally well. * Are dependable and enjoy being part of a team. * Value stability and are looking for a role they can enjoy and contribute to over the longer term. * Prefer being active and engaged with people rather than spending the working day behind a desk. * Previous experience in a service-driven environment is an asset, but attitude, curiosity, reliability and a genuine desire to help people are equally important to us. * Knowledge of POS systems, computers, radios, booking platforms or CRM systems is helpful, but training will be provided. * Additional languages, particularly Mandarin, are an asset. Physical Requirements: * Concierge at Oakridge Park is not primarily a seated desk position. Our Concierge team is visible and accessible to our guests throughout the property. * Approximately 90% of the working day involves standing, walking and moving throughout Oakridge Park, including navigating different levels and service areas. * Team members must also be comfortable lifting or moving items weighing up to 40 lbs when required. Why Oakridge Park? Oakridge Park is redefining the luxury lifestyle experience in Vancouver — bringing together fashion, food, culture, design, community and extraordinary public spaces in one remarkable destination. For the right person, Concierge offers something increasingly special: the opportunity to spend your working day meeting people, building relationships, sharing knowledge and making a difference to someone’s experience. The expected hourly range for this role is $22 – $24. Based on the position, QuadReal offers a competitive total rewards package in addition to the base pay, which may include a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health & dental benefits, pension plan, and paid time off. The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, the market compensation of the role, and the consideration to internal equity. We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Even if your skills don’t align 100% with the listed qualifications or salary range, we encourage you to apply – you may be a great fit for this role or others in our community. Applicants may also be considered for alternative positions within the organization where their qualifications and experience align more closely with available opportunities. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada as the company does not provide work permit sponsorship for this role.
