Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate is considered an asset As A Companion You Will May include but is not limited to, providing companionship and social/emotional support to clients and their families, sharing experiences, accompanying clients to medical appointments, grocery store and errands, recreational and /or social events Assisting clients with plans for visits and outings, organizing and reading mail, teaching/performing meal planning and preparation Performing light housekeeping and accompanying client on walks Reminding clients to take medication and meals Companion services shall not include any personal or hands-on care Disclaimer: Qualicare conducts all hiring through official company channels and does not request any form of payment from applicants during the hiring process. What you’ll do

Provide companionship, emotional support, and assistance with daily activities such as errands and medical appointments for clients. Perform light housekeeping and help with meal planning and preparation without providing hands-on personal care.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a recent Vulnerable Sector Check. A valid First Aid/CPR Certificate is considered an asset.
