Job Overview Reporting to the Manager, as the Residential/Commercial Journeyperson Plumber you will complete all plumbing activities for all stages of the building life cycle in an accurate and efficient manner. You also provide expertise and guidance to develop the assigned Plumbing Apprentices. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: * Promoting a safe work environment, and adhering to Qualico’s Safety Program and relevant safety regulations. * Collaborating with site foreman and other trades to coordinate site work activities. * Ensuring plumbing activities including installation of fixtures is completed efficiently according to drawings. Testing and inspecting all plumbing to ensure installations are accurate and operational. * Managing material inventory and documenting inventory adjustments when necessary. * Mentoring, developing and providing guidance to Plumber Apprentices. * Staying current on industry and plumbing codes to improve the productivity and quality of the work. Essential Requirements * Completion of 5-level Plumbing Apprenticeship training and registered Plumbing Journeyperson. * Minimum 3 years of plumbing experience. * Valid driver’s licence and access to reliable vehicle. * Satisfactory verification of criminal record check. * Physically able to kneel and crouch as well as lift, carry, push or pull objects weighing up to 20 lbs. * Comfortable using Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel). Work Conditions You primarily work on site during regular business hours and occasional on-call required. Work has exposure to noise and dust from equipment/machinery and operational hazards as well as dealing with inclement weather and dust. Overtime may occasionally be required. Requirements

Candidates must have completed a 5-level Plumbing Apprenticeship and be a registered Journeyperson with at least 3 years of experience. A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a criminal record check are also required.
