PROJECT COORDINATOR Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage and coordinate various projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. This role involves working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to achieve project success. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination: Assist in the oversight and management of projects, including restoration and construction, from start to finish. Assist with the development and implementation of project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources. Account Coordination: Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project requirements and progress. Documentation: Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings. Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders. Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor project progress, identify and address issues or delays, and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Prepare and present project reports as needed. Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, manage client expectations, and ensure client satisfaction. Vendor Management: Research and liaise with vendors to obtain quotes, develop cost estimates, and coordinate vendor work. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Experience: Proven experience in construction project management with a minimum of 5 years in the construction industry. Skills: Strong project coordination and management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, construction estimating techniques, and familiarity with construction methodologies. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Strong report writing skills and ability to synthesize information from multiple sources. Licenses: Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable transportation.
