We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Quality Engineer (QE) with strong expertise in Playwright-based UI test automation and software testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing React web applications, building and maintaining automated testing frameworks using TypeScript/JavaScript, and executing comprehensive functional, regression, and end-to-end testing to ensure high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated UI test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript. Create and execute automated and manual test cases for React-based web applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to validate application quality and performance. Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage. Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices. Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide actionable recommendations to improve product quality. Contribute to the development and enhancement of quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering, testing, or test automation. Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for UI test automation. Experience testing React.js web applications. Proficiency in TypeScript and/or JavaScript. Experience creating and maintaining scalable automation frameworks. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, and defect management. Experience with end-to-end, regression, smoke, and functional testing. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. Knowledge of API testing tools and methodologies. Experience working in cloud-based environments. Exposure to performance and accessibility testing is an asset. What you’ll do
