Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performing enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, APIs, and cloud technologies, along with proven experience leading development teams and driving technical solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level Java applications. Provide technical leadership and guidance to Java developers and development teams. Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices-based applications. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Define technical architecture, coding standards, development best practices, and design patterns. Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable, and reusable code. Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements. Break down complex technical requirements into development tasks and provide accurate effort estimates. Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical solutions. Mentor junior and senior developers and support their technical growth. Participate in architecture discussions and make recommendations on technology and platform improvements. Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and performance. Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. Drive Agile development practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical discussions. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely project delivery. Required Skills and Qualifications 10+ years of experience in Java application development. 2+ years of experience in a Technical Lead or Lead Developer role. Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17 or later. Extensive experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security. Strong experience designing and developing Microservices Architecture. Experience developing RESTful APIs and web services. Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles. Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Knowledge of ORM technologies such as Hibernate and JPA. Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS. Experience with Git and version control systems. Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
