Job summary
5-10+ years of professional software engineering experience with at least 75-80% of recent work focused on backend development Strong hands-on experience building NET Core backend services and RESTful APIs including designing applications from scratch Proven experience participating in the full SDLC design development testing deployment and maintenance for backend systems Experience with authentication and authorization including implementation of secure API endpoints eg token based auth OAuthOIDC rolepermission models Experience with SQL and NoSQL datastores eg SQL Server PostgreSQL MongoDB Cosmos DB or similar including schema design performance tuning and query optimization Experience with message queuing technologies such as Kafka RabbitMQ or similar for asynchronous and eventdriven architectures Strong background in automated testing including Unit testing Integration testing and understanding and application of TDD practices Security testing experience mandatory including securing APIs input validation handling sensitive data and addressing common vulnerabilities eg OWASP Top 10
