Headquartered in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, Quickmill is a world-class manufacturer of gantry and bridge style CNC machining centers. Our company’s origin can be traced back to 1984 in Ontario, Canada, where a small machine shop, producing low-cost parts on high-cost machines, saw a need for innovation. Seeing a need to reduce costs, Quickmill’s founder, David Piggott, designed and manufactured a low-cost vertical drilling machine to save on in-house labour. From there, word spread quickly and a demand for a lower cost vertical drilling machine in machine shops became apparent. The rest is history, Quickmill’s first customer received their machine in 1987 since then Quickmill has been supplying machining centers worldwide to our loyal customer base. What started with a passion for metal cutting innovation in 1984 has evolved into a worldwide supplier of high-quality machining centers today. Our machines may have changed over the past 35 years but one thing has remained the same; our passion.
