Role: Senior DevOps Engineer (Hybrid) Location: remote Job Type: Contract Payout: $30 - $130/hour Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to work on a contract basis. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure solutions to support high-traffic applications. Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize deployment pipelines and ensure system reliability. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools. • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement incident response procedures. • Collaborate with development teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient deployment processes. • Implement and maintain security best practices, including IAM policies and encryption standards. • Optimize containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless architectures. • Document infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and operational procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in DevOps practices and tooling. • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI. • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. • Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. • Understanding of networking, security, and compliance requirements. • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
